Rebecca is a financial services professional with over 15 years of experience in the hedge fund space. Rebecca started in the industry with Custom House Global Fund Services. During her time at Custom House Rebecca worked on a variety of different fund structures and strategies, oversaw a team of fund accountants responsible for the production of 30+ monthly and weekly NAVs and led multiple special projects including the launch of new clients and integration of additional services.
Prior to joining Waystone, Rebecca spent 12 years at Castle Creek Arbitrage, a Chicago-based hedge fund manager. She joined Castel Creek’s back office as a Senior Accountant and eventually moved into the role of Controller. As Controller Rebecca produced the funds’ monthly NAVs, oversaw the daily reconciliation team, monitored all corporate actions and break related issues, acting as subject matter expert for escalation between prime broker, front and back offices and fund administrator. Rebecca also acted as primary back up to the CFO/CCO, was lead on the funds’ annual audits and was actively involved in setting firm policy and back office procedures.
Rebecca holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Purdue University and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
