David Baldwin joined Waystone as an Associate Director in November of 2025 and is based in the New York Office.
Prior to joining Waystone, David lived in Dallas, Texas working for Goldman Sachs. At Goldman Sachs, David was responsible for compliance testing / monitoring, remediation, reporting, risk assessments, and oversight. Before working at Goldman Sachs, David lived in Phoenix, Arizona and was a part of Block’s Cash App transaction monitoring team. While working for Block’s transaction monitoring team, David specialized in detecting suspicious transactions, preparing SAR filings and ensuring compliance with AML regulations.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
