Patric Klein joined Waystone Compliance Solutions as a Director in June 2024, where he manages the Outsourced Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Financial Officer Group. The team provides clients with support for regulatory compliance and accounting responsibilities.
Patric is a financial services professional with over 18 years of experience in the hedge fund world. Patric started in the industry with Admiral Administration Fund Services. During his time at Admiral, Patric worked on a variety of different fund structures and strategies, oversaw a team of fund accountants responsible for the monthly NAVs, and led multiple integrations of new clients. Patric left Admiral Administration to join Round Table Investment Management Company, a Charlotte, NC-based hedge fund manager. Initially hired as Controller, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer during his six years at the firm. At Round Table, he helped register the firm with the SEC and supervised the Fund’s NAV process and audits.
Prior to joining Waystone, Patric spent eight years at Old Well Partners, another Charlotte, NC-based hedge fund manager. He joined Old Well prior to launch as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. In his role, Patric managed the funds’ monthly NAVs, directed the daily reconciliations, monitored all corporate actions and break-related issues. Additionally, he acted as subject matter expert for escalations between prime broker and fund administrator. Patric was the lead on the funds’ annual audits and was actively involved in setting firm policy and front/middle/back office procedures.
Patric holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University.
